ART PARTY! A Fundraising Exhibition

May 16 – May 30, 2026

We’re kicking off a fabulous and eclectic local art exhibition on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 5 pm. The evening event, with admission by donation, features a silent auction, great local art, and a live musical performance by Sam Chimes. Chimes brings elements of live Jazz and improv to his upbeat hip-hop style – don’t miss this memorable evening!

The ART PARTY exhibition will showcase the art of local artists, available for purchase at $100, $200 and $300. After our opening party, the exhibition will continue until May 30, 2026. Funds raised over the course of ART PARTY will help us in our ongoing support of local arts and culture through our exhibitions and related public programming.

“Sam Chimes is a multi-talented Afro Canadian musician. Chimes’ music has been influenced from a mix of his years moving around the world, and his experience as a sound technician in the film industry. He was Born in Africa, lived in Brunei, South East Asia, and he now resides in Canada. With his jazzy, soulful vibes, he uses a looper and a microkorg synthesizer to create instrumentals on the spot, layers his voice, and performs for his audience. Chimes has performed in over 13 countries outside of Canada. He recently came back from his fourth international tour, performing at shows in Australia, South of France, South Korea, to name a few, and street performing in between. He is now working on studio recordings and music videos soon to be released. Sam Chimes will leave you mesmerized and inspired.”
