Things to do in and around Deep Cove
Mae Moore at the Seymour Art Gallery
The Seymour Art Gallery is proud to present Mae Moore at the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre Tuesday July 13, 2010. This will be the third performance in the music series which is a fundraiser for the Seymour Art Gallery.
Blessed with an artist's eye, Mae Moore writes songs that evoke connection to place and to the person. She has been writing for over thirty-five years, and her songs have been heard in major movie soundtracks, hit television shows and all over the radio. With two Juno nominations, a classic Socan award and many chart successes, Mae has forged a career that has found her sharing stages with Sarah MacLaughlin, John Haitt, Marianne Faithful, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Richard Thompson and other folk/rock luminaries.
Mae has helped nurture other songwriters and she ran Red Cedar Songwriter Camp from 2005-2008. She is also active as a visual artist, painting and selling her Canadian landscape works.
The Seymour Art Gallery is honored to present Mae Moore, Tuesday July 13 at 7:30pm in the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre.
Tickets are $25 each, available from the gallery and gift shop, proceeds support the Seymour Art Gallery.
