Mindscapes

An exhibition in collaboration with Artists for Kids and the North Vancouver School District

This exhibition features work by students enrolled in the Artists for Kids Studio Art Academy. Academy students develop peak-performance skills and attitudes as well as in-depth exploration of drawing and painting, printmaking and sculpture.

The Academy offers classes to a select group of students who excel in high school art courses and challenges them with post-secondary level material and experiences. Students discover communication through visual imagery and are encouraged to pursue a career and lifestyle in fine arts. This collaborative exhibition, which introduces the students to the rewards and challenges of exhibiting their artwork, is an annual event at the Seymour Art Gallery.
