Viewpoints - recent works on paper and canvas - Ross Munro

From June 22 to July 18, 2010 the Seymour Art Gallery will be showing Viewpoints, Recent works on paper and canvas by Ross Munro. Ross has been painting and drawing professionally for many years and his work appears in many corporate and private collections, nationally and internationally. He lives on the West Coast of Canada, where the forest and ocean are only a few steps away. He often travels to find inspiration for his painting- embarking on sketching trips along the back roads of his home province, British Columbia. Ross is inspired by the experience of wilderness and a close understanding of nature. He works in both watercolor and acrylic; broad subtle washes of watercolour and vibrant colour in acrylics express the calming presence of wilderness.
