Angela Harris Poster

The Seymour Art Gallery presents Angela Harris with Mani Nassefat, Craig McIlveen and Eric Reed, as part of their Music Series which begins on April 13th and will be running throughout the year. The music series consists of various musical performers showcasing their talents as a fundraiser for the Seymour Art Gallery.

Angela Harris, the first performer of the Music Series, first took the stage with her mom as a harmonist and by the age of 13 she was playing the acoustic guitar. Six years later she was fronting her first band and recording her songs for radio. By the support of her community and beyond, Angela ventured to Nashville where she networked, performed, recorder, co-wrote and studied the craft of songwriting for 10 years.

To date she has released 3 albums, holds a 2006 WCMA nomination for Outstanding Roots Album for her 2nd release "Roots", and has garnered 2 charting singles and 10 BCCMA (British Columbia Country Music Association) nominations.

Socially driven, Angela is a downhome Canadian songwriter, whose delivery is acoustically and harmonically charged. Her performance style is intimate and captivating- rich with stories, messages and personality.
